Slowly boxing up their toys and tiny clothing while I remember all the joy they brought me. Holidays, events, fishing all feel empty now.
The owner/creator of K-Mae Babies announced he was no longer coming back to SL. Offers have been made to buy his company, with no response yet.
We all know RL comes first, but these Framilies have invested time, money and HEART.
I did not choose K-Mae for the price alone, although they were the most inexpensive. Seeing them play, hearing them giggle, taking them with me...it opened up another world inside of a world for me, and I fell in love.
Maybe someday I will get another child.

paris. the city of light. the city of art. the city of men like him. sitting on a folding chair, smoking, talking, waiting. behind him, a world drawn on a wallâgraffiti, stickers, inked names of those who left their mark. his black suit, a little worn, but worn with pride. the watch still shining. the cigarette still burning.
maybe heâs an artist. maybe heâs a storyteller. maybe heâs just watching time pass by, as the tourists come and go, as the pigeons circle, as the light shifts between the cracks of the buildings.
one last sip from the tiny cup. one last word to a stranger. and thenâwho knows?

Another of many images I’ve taken from the passenger seat on a drive home from one of my neurofeedback appointments. I never know how these images will turn out as we’re driving down one of the highways or the interstate we travel. This process of making photos of my surroundings really is helpful and calming for me.
