I'm going through serious family & Czech Republic withdrawals. I didn't get to stay at home long enough, and it's been way too long since I last went to CR... blah.
This is when I'm glad I have 8 million photos. A little time traveling is always fun, and I love looking at all the quirky shots of my fam :]] We're a great little bunch.
Happy Thursday!

You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I'm ashamed
There's not anything to which you can't relate
And you're still here...
Who adds colour to my darkness..
For my 5-year-old sister..
Had fun doing it too surprisingly with her nagging at my side..
I love you.
and I would roam the world to find a fairy for you if you asked..
and when you finally admit that you can read.
you will realize that I do love you.
I love you Judy.
sorry guys, this wasn't meant for you to read !
Hahah ! she is reading it right now !
she says Thanks.. And hope you guys like it !

The concept behind this garden evolved following a discussion with young people living within a Lancashire town.
A striking metal sculpture of a crouched figure leans against a slate wall. A hand dips into a nine metre long water-channel, leading the figure through a series of stone columns that become smaller and smoother, gradually blending with the planting, to show a young person's journey into society and adulthood. There is a mass planting of thyme interspersed with rosemary domes around the columns.
This garden is sponsored by CSH Transport, Together Housing Group, Euro Garages, Myerscough College, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and The Cardboard Box Company.
“Reach Out”
Finally I got the chance to finish her up!
What do you guys think? I’m attempting to digital paint. And I hope I become better at it. This did take me awhile since I’ve been playing around with it, and experimenting. I’ve digitally painted before but this time I pushed myself harder on this one. But like I said I hope to get better and better. Hope you all like it. If you got any pointers I’m open to hear them. ^__^

• Photograph taken at May 2007 for the "2nd JOINT STATEMENT ON FOTOLOG", whose theme was "Coins"
• Photo risen in my old Fotolog [ www.fotolog.com/hansolo/11656804 ] cause the subject. I use it for the contest [ PHE10 AND OPEN HOUSE 2.0 "Frozen Time" ], representing in addition to the attempt to reach a coin (and the relationship that I gave at the time with economic and trade issues on personal finances, ambitions and other connotations), a frame representation of a frozen time, an infinitesimal moment, which seems that the hand can not never achieve that coin stopped in time.
• Photo taken at my house's kitchen, with the coin hanging of a thin wire, and photographing my hand trying to catch it, while the coin is hung. Then I removed the wire with Photoshop.
• Post-processing of light and color, also made with Photoshop.
Now if you feel that you can't go on (can't go on)
Because all of your hope is gone (all your hope is gone)
And your life is filled with much confusion (much confusion)
Until happiness is just an illusion (happiness is just an illusion)
And your world around is crumbling down, darlin
reach out come on girl reach on out for me
reach out reach out for me
I'll be there with a love that will shelter you
I'll be there with a love that will see you through
When you feel lost and about to give up (to give up)
Cause your life just ain't good enough (just ain't good enough)
And your feel the world has grown cold (has grown cold)
And your drifting out all on your own (drifting out on your own)
And you need a hand to hold, darlin
reach out come on girl reach out for me
reach out reach out for me
I'll be there to love and comfort you
And I'll be there to cherish and care for you
I'll be there to always see you through
I'll be there to love and comfort you
I can tell the way you hang your head (hang your head)
Your not in love now, now your afraid (you're afraid)
And through the tears you look around (look around)
But there's no piece of mind to be found
(no piece of mind to be
found)
I know what your thinking,
You're alone now, no love of your own, but darling
reach out come on girl reach out for me
reach out reach out.......... just look over your shoulder
I'll be there to give you all the love you need
And I'll be there you can always depend on me
I'll be there to always see you through
I'll be there to love and comfort you
Well it was a long haul...after a bad dose of food poisoning on Christmas day we all seriously wondered if we would see my Dad home again. 50 days later he has really turned the corner and is now fighting for his old life back and his independence. I am still living with him but it wont be long now before I can confidently leave him to 'get on with it'!
It was a really cold foggy day but the sun burned through just long enough for Dad to have his first trip out. Wrapped up for the Artic he headed up to the seafront, along the prom to the cycle path by the yacht club and up the riverbank.
Little Charlie was so happy running alongside him and getting the rub behind his ears every time we stopped...
Thanks to all you well wishers out there..it's been lovely to read him your messages.

Pal Judy is a re-release of ON-U Sound LP #16 originally released in the U.K. in 1982.
A rising local hockey player is putting his face on the push for mental health awareness.
Sixteen-year-old Myles Mattila, who plays for the Okanagan Rockets major midgets, became an advocate for the issue because of two events: when he didn't know how to help a teammate, and the death of Vancouver Canucks’ star Rick Rypien.
Now, he's become a champion for the Canadian Mental Health Association's Ride Don’t Hide community bike ride on June 21.
Mattila quickly discovered how much fear and misunderstanding exists about mental illness.
Before moving from Prince George to Kelowna to join the Rockets, Mattila became the Northern B.C. representative for Mindcheck.ca, a website dedicated to providing mental health resources to young people. He also told his story at the Balancing Our Minds mental health summit at Rogers Arena in February.
“Mental health affects everyone, no matter what age we are, and youth are no exception. In fact, often times young people struggle to deal with the emotional and mental challenges that impact us on a daily basis,” he says. “We can all try to make a difference ... (and) show everyone that it’s OK to talk about mental illness.”
CMHA Kelowna is asking young people like Mattila to make the Get Loud pledge. For every young person who makes the pledge to speak up, the Thomas Alan Budd Foundation will donate $1, to a maximum of $5,000. The pledge can be found at www.cmhakelowna.org and at area schools.
“I’ve been a supporter of CMHA’s Ride Don’t Hide fundraiser in the past, but this year’s ride has special meaning for our family,” says Tom Budd. “This Father’s Day, I’m dedicating my ride to the memory of my son, and I want to invite every parent to bring their kids out ... and help us reach people, especially our youth.
“All communities would benefit from increase awareness and reduction of the shame around mental illness.”
In any given year, one in five Canadians, or approximately seven million Canadians, experience a mental health problem or illness, but only one third will seek help – often due to the stigma around mental illness.
Ride Don’t Hide takes place in 27 communities across Canada, and CMHA is expecting more than 6,000 cyclists to join in across the country.
The ride in Kelowna includes the 40-kilometre Dillon Budd Memorial Ride and a seven-km family/beginner route through downtown, with on-site family-friendly activities and events.
It goes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., starting from the Rotary Centre for the Arts, and is open to cyclists of all ages and skill levels. Registration and donations can be made online at www.ridedonthide.com.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, our brother, our friend on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the age of 18. His loss will be forever felt by his father Thomas Budd, mother Annette Toro- Huber, step father Harold Huber, step siblings: Wyatt, Laura and Jessica Huber; grandfather Alan Budd; Aunt Cheryl (Wayne) Gellhaus; Uncle George (Carol) Budd and extended family and friends. Payton was predeceased by his brother Dillon. He had many passions and interests: his love for his dog Gracie, basketball and just hanging out with his friends. Payton was a charismatic young man with a gentle soul, whose infectious laugh could be heard after one of his many pranks. We will miss him forever and will continue to keep him in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday May 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm, at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 4619 Lakeshore Road with Reverend Anne Privett officiating. Celebration of Life to follow for Payton's friends and their families in Payton's backyard, 4594 Fuller Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Anglican Church towards the Memorial Gardens to honour Dillon and Payton Budd. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com, 250-860-7077.

Just getting a little close and personal with the ground. I love how it feels to get down and touch the earth and look at something really closely and quietly. It kind of slows things down a bit. *Best seen large*
I am reposting this image for a delicate 20 year old bird who decided life was too heavy for her little Earth bound wings. So she went into her closet and painfully flew away from Earth into the next plain.
Too many emotions fighting within me as your parents (family & friends) prepare to release your body into the ground today, never to fully say good-bye. Sweet child, we miss you. We miss you.......

Learn To Fly
Hello, good-bye
Higher you fly
Into the world
I awoke
This mornin', with pourin' rain in my heart
As I fall apart today
But you make your way
And I'll rise
I will rise if in my mind
But I can see you fly away
I can see the sun upon your face
I can feel your heart and I can hear you cry
And as I fall apart I learn to fly
A dirty bird like me will learn to fly
Hello, good-bye
Two birds hover inside of a heart factory
Holding on to recovery
Fly away or repaired and preparing to go on your way
And I know I'm on my own
But you make your way
And I'll rise
I will rise if in my mind
But I can see you fly away
I can see the sun upon your face
I can feel your heart and I can hear you cry
And as I fall apart I learn to fly
A dirty bird like me will learn to fly
Fly
And everything that I love you for remains
High above the clouds and the cleansing rains
You make your way
And I will rise if in my mind
You make your way
You make your way
But I can see you fly away
I can see the sun upon your face
I can feel your heart and I can hear you cry
A dirty bird like me will learn to fly

"movies of myself" rufus wainwright
Stop me falling down, stop me making movies of myself
Put that old dog down, stop me making movies of myself
Bring the carriage 'round, get me to the garden of sleep
Make that high gate speak, Perrier out of a paper bag
Looking like a hag
And start giving me something
A love that is longer than a day
Start making my heart sing something that it doesn't want to
say
I'm handing it over, I'm saying that you're the only one
Don't run for the border, turn that corner
Already you've run in movies of myself
Darling don't you ever let go
Wrap your loving arms around me
While the cold winds blow
Tell me what I really want to know
Cause I'm looking for a reason, a person, a painting
A Saturday Evening Post Edition by Jesus
An old piece of bacon never eaten by Elvis
So I'll say start giving me something
A love that is longer then a day
Start making my heart say something it doesn't want to say
I'm handing it over, I'm singing that you're the only one
Don't run for the border, turn that corner
In movies on myself
Oh I've seen it all before in movies of myself
Friendship, the last of the three virtues at the base of the memorial. The light wasn't in the best of places, but sepia often makes the best of an iffy situation!
Absolutely best seen in large view.

On Monday afternoon we decided to prepare a kind of stuffed pasta (we made it with a mixture of meat, parmigiano cheese, parsley, egg) called "Ravioli", I kneaded the dough, my boyfriend reached it out with the machine and then I stuffed it with the mixture and closed the ravioli.
