A concert featuring local singer songwriters and Youtube sensations such as David Choi, Jason Chen and Chester See came to perform at the Taylors Lakeside campus.

I got a bit carried away this morning what with the sun shining, the birds singing and flowers blooming. Such a relief after winters dark months. I took this with my macro lens. The tip of this stamen is about 2 millimeters across and it's pretty tiny. It's amazing the miniature world that opens up when looking through a macro lens. I may invest in an extension tube or two to increase magnification and get spectacular results.

February 6, 2021 - "Columbus based artist, Alfred Tibor’s sculpture Reach Out is located on the grounds of the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Commissioned by the Columbus Aids Task Force, Reach Out was created in memoriam of those who have died from and are living with HIV/AIDS. Tibor states, “the sculpture represents the desperation felt by so many AIDS victims and that it is asking for help for those battling HIV/AIDS”. It was completed and placed on Conservatory grounds in 1992 during the Ameriflora exhibition. After Ameriflora, the piece remained on the grounds, with a red flower bed planted in the shape of a ribbon to surround the piece.
To make place for a Children's Garden, the sculpture is planned to be relocated to a field on the southern side by the end of October 2016." Previous text from the following website:

The sculpture has been moved and this is where it is now located in Franklin Park. Columbus, Ohio
DUBLIN: 25.06.12: Budding movie makers focus in on the issue of mental health to launch the Inspire a Generation Film Competition 2012: Pictured was ReachOut.com ambassador Kevin Roberts and Judy Van Den Ancker with film buff Aine Quirke , call ‘action’ on the ReachOut.com Inspire a Generation Short Film Competition, which invites budding filmmakers and animators to create a short film or animation, exploring youth mental health related topics in a positive light. The winner will receive a €2,000 bursary and a coveted internship with leading Irish Ad Agency Cawley-Nea. ReachOut.com is an online service aimed at young people, taking the mystery out of mental health by providing reliable, straight-forward information on all the issues they regularly face.
