A photograph of Jake
This photograph is a single-exposure photo. The camera took the shot of the stars first, as a long exposure, and then the lens was covered and shifted down. A strobe light was used to capture Jake at different times as he meandered toward me. The ground was lit separately and blurred slightly in post-production. The light he is reaching for is a lighting-up yo-yo.
If you are going to utilize this method, make sure your camera sensor is extremely clean to avoid hot pixels. It helps to use in-camera noise reduction as well.
The most important concept to understand is that we need to continually sit back and reevaluate where you’re at in life and adjust your goals accordingly. Because the truth is your goals dictate your actions, and subsequently the actions you take will be directly correlated to how successful you’ll be or... not be. Your goals from 5 years ago, along with the actions you took to accomplish those goals, are different.
I read this book called Vivid Vision by Cameron Herald. A book to help create a vision for the future so you can have a roadmap for the actions your do on a daily basis.
Here’s what I got in 4 steps.
Step 1 - Create a vision that is 3 years down the line.
3 years is specific because you don’t want it to be too short and not too long.
Make that 3 year vision grand (I.e- being accepted into a dream school, landing the job you’ve always wanted, being in a position where you are so competitive that schools can’t say no).
Step 2- Write your vision on paper. (Brainstorm and then type it out).
.
The key here is to be specific. The book talks about how a mission statement or a one liner doesn’t do justice to you or your mind when it comes to bringing your vision to fruition.
So...when creating your vivid vision....describe what it feels like, what it looks like, who’s there, what emotions do you have, what are you going to be most proud of, who’s going to be proud of you, what type of person will you be?
Step 3 - Print out your vivid vision and share it with your inner circle.
Step 4 - Reread your vision weekly and align your actions accordingly.
So there you go... I think it’s so important to continually grow and become the best version of yourself. But sometimes, in order to do so, you have to start with a vision.

"And you just might become one."
This was a fun edit. :) Definitely looks fake, but oh well.
I had the BEST night ever last night. Right after I had the worst one. Funny how things work out, isn't it? Some people are put in your life to make everything seem better. :)

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.
Shine on you crazy diamond.
Come on you raver, you seer of visions,
Come on you painter, you piper, you prisoner, and shine!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
Got a little crazy with my firework and felt like being dangerous, so instead of putting it on the ground like a normal person I ended up holding it...
