dream
So here starts another project. I am setting myself no rules, except the condition that I must see this project to it's close. I'm not setting a theme, and not even the rule that each photo has to be a self portrait (although I can guarantee you that most will be portraits of some kind.)
It's been seven months since my 365 ended, and I've missed the endless ideas zooming round my mind during lessons instead of concentrating on the vaguely important information I was being taught.
I miss having something to aim to. I miss being as much in love with photography as I was when I had a continuous goal. It's not that I've fallen out of love with photography, merely that I've been too busy discovering it in different ways: fully experiencing film and all the problems that come with the success of a single photo on 35mm; tackling an 100 strangers project in order to pass my photography GCSE; and just having a break. This break though has worried me. I need to throw myself back into photography and fill myself with ideas and goals and plans for the future. Photography, for a long time now, has been all I want to do, and although there isn't much of a market for the sort of photos I take, I hope to find various jobs within the industry once I've finished studying. This break troubled me because I didn't have ideas or concepts or pictures in my mind, and while all my friends are aiming for stable jobs to achieve for the rest of their life, if I can't do anything with photography, I'll have nothing.
I think I forgot to say - I got a wireless remote shutter release for Neville, my camera, for Christmas. This photo is the first time I've really tried it out, and it's so much easier to get it to look how I want!
So here's to 2013. I'm 16 now. I hope it's a good year for all of you, and for everyone starting a project like this: good luck to you.
welcome 2013!
and welcome another 365! i missed you last year. let's see what this year brings.
i wish that we can all reach for the stars.
january 1, 2013
i can't believe it: day 1 and already explored (#388)! thank you!!!
I know that this is poorly done, but hey.. I had fun doing it. And I think even though it has a little bit of nick and nats here and there.. that it looks good! It feels so dreamy!
It feels good to just fool around with my art.. :)
Might as well reach for the stars
Way up in the air where you belong
Might as well reach for the stars
Even if you don't make it, you'll still be with the great ones, yeah
Reach for the stars because you might just find the moon! As some of you will know I was made an Azul Princess and well, you can tell how happy I am!
I got my power back today! So I have tons of uploading to do. I miss you all tons, and sorry for being so bad, and behind!

Billy Boy invited me to join his Mission 24 Group. So I checked it out. Today's theme was "Look Up More." Billy is an optimist, always being positive about things, so maybe I should be like him and look up more!
And for some reason, the theme for today reminded me of this funny YouTube video prank, look it up here ----> www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSBXS1npqNI
And check out his group here
Agent Hunter signing off. Mission Complete.
Inspired by my flickr friend, Diane (Cosmic Monkey), who also has a “reach” photo with an encouraging message in her stream today ... and by these sparkly Christmas stars I found in an antique shop in Old Town last weekend. ;) HBW to all!
I finally got the stars covering my dog bite scars filled in and added on to.
It started off with the stars were prettier than the scars but grew into something that may be a little cliche but I like it. With my chronic health conditions, this bold reminder to "reach for the stars" and to continue to focus on something bigger and brighter makes me smile.
the title would work more if they weren't on the grass ;) haha. *MORE IN COMMENTS*
excuse my chubby fingers... haha.
P.S I APOLOGIZE FOR THE MASS UPLOAD TODAY!
This is one of Tysons faveorite things to do. I'll put a stick up in a tree and he'll try to jump up and get it. He'll go through many many failed attempts, but hes not the kind to give up until he gets what he wants. This shot is of him when he actually got the stick down (the one right above his nose). he goes frantic to get these sticks out of those trees, as if he believes they don't belong there. it's quite the sight to see =) His other faveorite thing to do is to fetch big, and when i mean big i mean BIG sticks from the pond that i throw in. He wont come back to the shore until he figures out a way to bring it back in, or he loves for me to throw a stick in the thick underbrush and he'll go find it and bring it back. His love for sticks is like a kid with candy, he LOVES sticks.

For 365 Days, FGR, and February's Alphabet Fun.
February 27th - Pictures with inappropriate tags and Free for All.
Tribute to ★ [star]
I wanted to do at least one symbol or punctuation at the end of the alphabet series, and since the star is my favorite symbol, here we are!
I want GOOD inappropriate tags for this, please. I know you can do it! (I'm giving it to ya easy here lol)
TRF: I bought these pants around end of summer/beginning of fall 2007 on mega clearance at Mervyn's (RIP). I've never worn them because for a while I didn't have an appropriate top (they're super low cut) and I didn't want to face ridicule wearing them during winter or after Labor Day. But it's sunny and starting to warm up just a tid bit, so I'm wearing them tomorrow night when we go out for our friend's birthday!

"Reach for the Stars" was a special horse commissioned for the 10th anniversary of Ocala/Marion County's "Horse Fever" series. This was one of four horses that were not originally on display from September 2011 to March 2012. Rather, it made its debut at an event called "Farewell to the Herd" in mid-March 2012 before going to auction two weeks later with all the other horse statues.
Why is it a special horse? Well, it is one of three horses donated to three area schools to design and paint (the fourth was a design voted upon by the public and then raffled off, rather than auctioned). It was worked upon by Marlene Jacobowitz, Sally Lyle, and the students of Hillcrest School. Money raised from the auction for this horse and the other school horses will go towards supplies and art programs at area public schools. After auction, the winning bidder donated the horse back to the school for the enjoyment of future students and faculty at the school.
Each of the hand prints are from the students who were asked to be a part of the creation of this statue.
My daughter amusing me and my shoe thing. Whatever makes mom happy, fine hand me the shoe and I'll hold it wayyy up high. Honey, why are you standing on your toes? You can't really hang the stars, it's just a saying....

This rocket was designed and built as a collaboration of nearly half-a-million people and allowed our human species to venture beyond our world and stand on ANOTHER - SURELY one of the biggest dreams of all time. ENABLING THE DREAMS of young people to touch this mighty rocket sends a powerful message in conjunction with creating an educational curriculum to engage students to embrace the power of learning through many important subjects”
