It is true that recollection has several degrees, and that in the beginning these great effects are not felt, because it is not yet profound enough. But support the pain which you first feel in recollecting yourself, despise the rebellion of nature, overcome the resistance of the body, which loves a liberty which is its ruin, learn self-conquest, persevere thus for a time, and you will perceive very clearly the advantages which you gain from it. As soon as you apply yourself to orison, you will at once feel your senses gather themselves together: they seem like bees which return to the hive and there shut themselves up to work at the making of honey: and this will take place without effort or care on your part. God thus rewards the violence which your soul has been doing to itself; and gives to it such a domination over the senses that a sign is enough when it desires to recollect itself, for them to obey and so gather themselves together. At the first call of the will, they come back more and more quickly. At last, after countless exercises of this kind, God disposes them to a state of utter rest and of perfect contemplation.

Last November 26, 2016 the Junior High School students had their recollection activity. The purpose of a recollection activity is to refresh and revitalize the mind and soul of the students for them to be once again in tune and further deepen with their relationship with God. This is achieved through relatable lectures and thought provoking activities that help the students reflect and contemplate on how they are making and breaking the teachings of Jesus in their lives and how they can bring that love back to their families. The activity ends with a confession and a thanks giving mass.
In every shadow and breath there is a particle of memory. The cosmos returning to the simplicity of things and light.

"Having originally studied architecture, Andrei Roiter moved to the west during the era of perestroika and went on to live in several European countries before settling more or less permanently in Amsterdam and New York.
Someone has once said that there is a small philosopher in every Russian. In this sense Roiter is very Russian. He considers the progress and meaning of life often with tones of self-irony and refined humour. Roiter’s works often contain surreal features, as if life itself cannot help being surprised by its own absurdity. He uses the camera as an aid, collecting recollections, events, and things. And later he selects, refines and crystallizes from recollections forceful works interpreting the past and creating a bridge to the future.
Andrei Roiter is a sensitive and strong painter. His works may be open, allusive, or images of strangeness finished down to the last detail. But they are always extremely skilful multi-layered paintings created with sleepwalker-like assurance, whose beauty eludes explanations and is not exhausted by them."
