c1915 postcard view of students and parents at Culver Military Academy, Culver, Indiana. The 1914 Sanborn™ fire insurance map set for Culver includes the school and shows this administration building on the campus. There is no indication if this was a special occasion or just a typical weekend with family visitors. The photographer was facing south-southwest when the photograph was taken.

The photograph was copyrighted by John Inbody from Elkhart. He died on June 10, 1915, after becoming ill with appendicitis at Culver a few days earlier. His assistant, Leon Burrell, bought the studio from the Inbody estate and continued publishing Inbody photographs. The quality of this postcard image is inferior to those typically produced by Inbody and is probably an example of a postcard that Burrell produced after he purchased the studio.

1910 dated postcard view of an interurban wreck near Kingsland, Indiana. This was the Bluffton line of the Wabash Valley Traction Company. On September 21, 1910, a Wabash Valley trolley car and an Indiana Union Traction car crashed head-on. This was the most deadly interurban crash ever.

1906 dated postcard view of the Ohio River waterfront at Evansville, Indiana. This view was looking northwest from a point southeast of Locust Street. The buildings fronted Upper Water Street (known as Riverside Avenue today). A steamboat was docked a short distance downriver.

Few business signs are readable in this scene. The sign on the fourth building from the right is unclear, but the 1910 Sanborn™ fire insurance map set for Evansville shows a candy factory at that location (312-314 Upper Water Street). Next door, the sign above the awning advertised a TIN SHOP. The map set shows a tin shop in this two-story building (316 Upper Water Street). When he took this photograph, the photographer captured part of the BEMENT & SEITZ sign. This was on the four-story brick building at the north corner of the Locust Street intersection. The Bement and Seitz Wholesale Grocery Company was the building’s (322-326 Upper Water Street) occupant.

Commissioned in 1984 and originally located at the first Gateway Center Station, this mural was moved to the present Gateway Center Station when the Light Rail (commonly known as the "T") was expanded.

It is done in ceramic tile, artist Romaire Bearden.

1909 postmarked postcard view of two men working on parked school hacks. Some of the hacks are labeled North Twp. and Jefferson. The postcard is untitled. There is a sign over the doorway, but it's mostly obstructed by the tree branches. It appears to read, "E (or D)___RI____."

The card was postmarked in Culver and mailed to Rochester. The message mentions Leiter's Ford.
