Macromaodays theme : Citrus
Easy peelers or Mandarin, 3 segments which total in themselves barely 3 inches and cropped in tighter, captured on white mirrored glass with natural lighting. As an afterthought it might have been better to have cleaned the pith off the segments a little better, I will put this down to artistic license.

from the whole foods raw bar. The nori roll contained brazilian nut paste with different seasonings which include tumeric wrapped with advocado, cucumbers, carrots, jicama, and red pepper which was served on a bed of salad greens. A must try if you are thinking about raw foods.
This was real quick as were the Fudge and the Moroccan balls.
An approximate recipe is below
Crust:
Almonds (or other nuts such as pecans, macadamias etc) couple of large handfuls
5 Medjool (or other soft) dates
Pinch of celtic salt
Filling:
Blueberries (the sweeter the better) blended
Optional: you can also add a teaspoon of psyllium husks to make the filling a bit more solid. Add dry when blending the blueberries or add to a little warm water for ten minutes then add to blueberry mixture.
Also, adding a dash of lemon juice will help the blueberries retain their vibrant colour (lemon juice not added to this one).

If it wasn't already clear tonight, I definitely have pasta on the brain. This time, rather than try to capture the odd shapes and patterns of the pasta itself, I decided to go with something a little more meta, and emulate a poster for The Godfather that I quite like.
Flint corn (Zea mays var. indurata) also known as Indian corn or sometimes calico corn is a variant of maize, the same species as common corn. Because each kernel has a hard outer layer to protect the soft endosperm, it is likened to being hard as flint; hence the name. The six major types of corn are dent corn, flint corn, pod corn, popcorn, flour corn, and sweet corn.

It's basically blended cashew nuts with a bit of lemon juice, garlic and salt and pepper,
left in the fridge for a day and rolled in chopped parsley.
It's a bit like boursin - though more like hummus. Not as nice as real cheese, but the nicest vegan cheese I've ever tasted!

holy freakin yum! Adventures in raw food. This is a raw butternut squash rice, with cranberry, onion, coriander, cumin, onion and sea salt. I tasted it and thought the avocado and banana were wonderful compliments.

The Anaheim chili pepper is named for the California city of Anaheim. A type of chile pepper that is about a 6" in length, is green in color, and has a mild to medium-hot flavor.When the chile is dried, it turns a dark burgundy color. It is sometimes referred to as the New Mexico chile, but the actual New Mexico chiles are a bit hotter. Anaheim chiles are a good complement to egg dishes, stews, and vegetable dishes could also be used in salsa or on salads.(SG)
