The sunlight on a bench with some leaves caught my eyes. I tried to capture and hold it with my camera.

Last weekend I took the first picture of the BP administration in Bochum.
I had to bend it wuite much so the windows are fine but I think it's okay until I can achive something like a tilt-shift.
The building is designed by Bothe, Richter, Teherani architects of Hamburg. I like the facade from one point of view but it's also quite boring in the sheer masses.

Unfortunately no ID on this hoverfly on a very yellow flower (dandelion?) in the Rudan nature reserve in Haninge, Sweden, but do zoom in on the compound eyes - they look quite cool.

While going through an old HDD -looking for a particular music recording- I came across some photographs that I took at the Palais des Beaux Arts de Lille/Rijsel on Jan 6th 2009.
As with the recent Rechenzentrum • 2007 set, I've decided to try and post some of the unposted photographs from that show as well as updating to better versions of those I'd already posted on here at Flickr years ago.
The quality isn't great as I was using a SONY DSC-H2 digital camera at the time. A bit of a vintage item nowadays compared to how digital cameras have progressed over the years. Still, the results you got, and still do, with this camera are pretty good. Its major setback being the (rechargable) batteries that used up too fast. God knows why I used this camera as I had already acquired a Canon EOS 400D which could take much better quality photographs. Anyhow, some good souvenirs from an excellent show by another of electronic music's better musicians.

Frank Bretschneider works as a musician, composer and video artist in Berlin. His work is known for precise sound placement, complex, interwoven rhythm structures and its minimal, flowing approach. Described as „abstract analogue pointilism“, „ambience for spaceports“ or „hypnotic echochamber pulsebeat“, Bretschneider‘s subtle and detailed music is echoed by his visuals: perfect translated realizations of the qualities found in music within visual phenomena.
