Not such a great picture, but you can sorta see the red line between the skin on the top of my hand vs my palm's non-irritated skin. Something in the Sysco soap (product number SUPC 9049727) did not agree with my skin.
I developed this rash on my hand a few days before we headed to Canada for the weekend to visit Darren's parents. It lasted for a few weeks...
Apparently I'm allergic to strawberry leaves now.
It had to have been the leaves...I keep the garden well-weeded, I don't use any chemicals, and I was keeping an eye out for bugs. I'm allergic to the craziest stuff. *sigh*

He's a talented painter, he is able to put his country's colours in his paintings, which come from an impressionist and post-impressionist background, and he creates beautiful sculptures, too.
Had the pleasure to meet him at the Bistaar: Chittagong Arts Complex, so I tried my best to take a portrait of him that could possibly reflects his open-minded spirit and the passion that lighten his bright eyes.

It took nearly six weeks ot treatment with antivirals and painkillers for the rash and the accompanying pain to finally subside.

21-month-old male patient presented to the ED with a complaint of fever of 38.5 °C (tympanic) that first started 4 days prior to presentation. Upon resolution of the fever, “flat red itchy spots” first appeared on both of his legs, then on the soles of his feet, and lastly on his palms and mouth.
He didn’t have any GI or upper respiratory tract infection symptoms.
No recent travel history, but positive sick contact: his cousin developed the same picture of symptoms a week earlier.
ROS is negative except for a loss of appetite and lethargy.
PMH: Isolated mineralocorticoid deficiency
Family history: Isolated mineralocorticoid deficiency
Medications: Fludrocortisone, oral, 0.1 mg
Birth hx: C-section
Born LGA (4395 gm)
Social: Mother and father both well educated, well aware of their son’s condition. 3 other siblings, all have the same congenital disorder
Allergy: None
Vital Signs
Temp: 36.8 °C
HR: 88 beats per minute
RR: 25 rates per minute
BP: 105/60 mmHg
SpO2: 100% RA
Airway: Patent
Breathing: Clear chest on auscultation
Circulation: Regular rate and rhythm
Capillary refill time is > 2 sec.
General: Irritable, but not in distress
Hydration status: crying without tears, dry mucosal membranes
Appearance: Well developed, no dysmorphic features
Cardiorespiratory: lungs clear to auscultation, breaths sounds are equal, no acrocyanosis, no cyanosis, no clubbing, not pale, no murmur, normal peripheral pulses
Abdominal: No edema, no jaundice, no abdominal distention, normal bowel sounds
HENT: Normocephalic, no pharyngeal erythema. Pupils are equal, round and reactive to light, normal conjunctiva.
Neck: Supple, non-tender, no thyromegaly
Genitourinary: Normal genitalia for age and sex
Musculoskeletal: Normal. Normal strength. No deformity.
