Apparently I'm allergic to steri-strips or the adhesive on them. Blisters galore!

Urushiol is the chemical that causes the poison oak reaction. It cannot be neutralized by the body. The rash is a result of the immune system continually destroying cells instead of the urushiol. Painted in watercolor, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Well well well, it seems as if the culprit behind the itchy creeping crud rash that started on my neck & spread to my arms is an allergic reaction to Lush henna! GAH!

Now I have 2 blocks of henna that I can't use. Any non-allergic takers out there?

So, I crashed my motorcycle Sunday night. My arms are scraped up, my shoulder hurts pretty good, bruised pretty much all over. Thankfully I was wearing all my gear (helmet, pants, shoes, long sleves). I wish I had a real riding jacket on, but that's something I asked for my birthday (Sept 10th). Wish I had it early :(
