after taking sulpha, i had an allergic reaction...*cries*

This pic is from about two years ago but this is the length of my hair now. Uh...I have a tad bit more gray.

Surfer, Connie Arias, takes part in the East Coast Surfing Championships' Women's Pro Division in Virginia Beach, VA. These photos were taken at sunrise during the first two heats of the day.

Pax has now developed some mysterious rash. The vet said it isn't mange, but it didn't respond to antibiotics. So... just keeping it clean... doesn't seem to bother him.

It's either heat rash after our hike or an allergic reaction to local plant life (I had already had a less extreme version a few days before)

The marks don't hurt or itch. I'm hoping they will disappear on their own Update on 6/20: It looks much better..

Apparently I'm allergic to steri-strips or the adhesive on them. Blisters galore!

Urushiol is the chemical that causes the poison oak reaction. It cannot be neutralized by the body. The rash is a result of the immune system continually destroying cells instead of the urushiol. Painted in watercolor, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

That little white stripe near the top is where the rolled hem of my baby sleeve hit.
