This lovely Canary Bird rose has grown at the end of our garden for years and bears loads of early flowering blooms. I took this picture on 12th April and it's still covered in flowers now, 4th May. Quite a sight from my bedroom window !

Here's a close-up of one of its flowers with a delightful visitor, a honey bee. Always a joy to see.

Our trip to the island of Romblon was marked by whole days of doing nothing but beach bumming and island-hopping. A favorite hangout of ours was this beach - Tiamban Beach.
