Ramadan is the month of blessing this is the month in which Allah Almighty forgives every sin of those who ask forgiveness from the depth of their hearts. London in the United Kingdom is a city like many others around the world that is home to numerous people of the Islamic faith and these devout muslims spend the holy month of Ramadan in worship of God and Fast from sunrise to sunset as commanded by their religion. Here we have made an effort to provide the timings of suhar and iftar in London for Ramadan 2011. Wish you all a very blessed Ramadan full of Joy and blessing of Allah.
Ramadan is observed around the world during the 9th lunar month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims fast around the world from sunrise to sunset in their particular countries. The duration of the fast varies from place to place depending on the length of the day.
Fasting has been made Mandatory for Muslims by Allah Almighty as he says in Quran."O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you,that ye may (learn) self-restraint" [Quran: Chapter 2:183]

دعيت نفسي يافتى الجـود وادعيـك غالي ولـك عنـدي معـزه وشيمـه
شهـر الصيـام اعزوافضـل لياليـك فرصه لنـا مهـداه مـن دون قيمـه
تمحي اذنوبك فيه مـن عنـد واليـك بس اجتهد وابـدا بصفحـه سليمـه
المـال ماهوساعـة المـوت مغنيـك تغتر فيـه انفـوس ضعفـاّّ غشيمـه
شهرالصيام اوصيك واوصيك واوصيك فرصه قصيـره كنهـا ظـل غيمـه

This photo is made out of 5photos (the grass , the sky and different mosques shots that i have ) I'm sorry about the low quality of the handwriting as i like calligraphy and I'm good at it on papers but this is the first time i use tablet ;) so i hope you like it.
anyway if tomorrow not Ramadan i might try a better shot or calligraphy.

It's a continuous training to strengthen our Imaan.
Glory be to Allah who sent Ramadan as a mercy to mankind
Its a purification of our soul, our heart, and our mind
With the most sincere devotion and love we fast
To be cleansed and free from sins of the past
Glorified is He, who choseth this holy month,
To test our sabr and fill our hearts with warmth
Of his Divine Light, His blessings shall glow,
The Seer of the unseen, all He does know
Ya Allah! For thee, let my breath be more pleasant than musk
Ya Allah! For thee, let me be thankful when day turns to dusk
My thoughts and heart are purified, my eyes truly see'
This blessed month, the month of spiritual rhapsody!
Ya Allah! For thee, my life I shall live!
Ya Allah! For thee, my soul I shall give!

Duaa pose is an often used pose for Muslims when they give supplications. Not our 5 daily prayers. Hands are held out in front of the person and palms are opened upwards.

Every year in the month of Ramadan,4 all Muslims fast from dawn until sundown, abstaining from food, drink, and sexual relations.
Although the fast is beneficial to health, it is regarded principally as a method of spiritual self-purification. By cutting oneself off from worldly comforts, even for a short time, a fasting person gains true sympathy with those who go hungry, as well as growth in his or her spiritual life.
بعدنا عن الوطن .. ما يخرب علينا لذة الشهر المبارك .. نعمل التشوكليت كيييك ولو ما تنعمل .. عاد ما صورت بقيت السفرة كنتوا بتقولوا رمضان عندنا أحلى ههههـ .. حلاته أكيد ف البلاد .. ولكن نخفف على نفسنا .. :)
