I've messed around with various methods of measuring fork rake. I'm really liking this one. It seems accurate and repeatable. The pics don't show it but I tried it on two different forks, and I measured them with the rake going to my right (as shown) as well as to my left. All the measurements were very close.
The fork shown was designed to have 66mm of rake, but it's 67.5. The other fork was supposed to be 45, but it's 43.
I'm disappointed that the errors are in opposite directions, because it means that I can't blame the calibration of my jig... What can I blame?

Dan, who a few days ago had $45 to his name, remarked in the car upon picking him up that he only had $15 of his money left. I asked what he spent his money on and he replied that he had donated it to St. Baldricks - a foundation for the cure and support of children with cancer.

At the beginning of the COVID pandemic, golf courses removed the bunker rakes. As of October 2020 over 70 percent of US courses still did not have them on the course. I am not a golfer, so this is news to me. But this morning on our walk, I happened to shoot this pic, and then learned these factoids. ODC outdoor tool

Mulch, Sweat 'n' Shears rocks the Streets of America on the studio backlot with some insanely good rock and roll!
This place is right along the parkway a little north of Mabry Mill. I've never gotten out of the car before here nor found the place very interesting, but fog and colors change everything. I went down the bank and hopped around the rocks taking photos of the colorful tree and water over the spillway. I used 3 exposures to get everything like I wanted. This was an extremely productive outing especially for being unplanned, and glad I got to see some fall with the heavy weather coming tonight that is likely to blast away much of it.

A trip out to The Berry Barn for lunch and then a bit of a walk about - came across this old hay rake. A bit of "processing " and sliding to get to this.
