For a tutorial i am writing on alphabetical pagination.

Part of the rail network to be found at Pembroke Dock, some still on MOD land but this part is home to various small companies, this was at one time connected to the main line.

I affixed rails to support 1/4 inch plywood floorboards. This plywood is very rigid on its width. There are angle bevels involved, so the boards snap in, and would nearly hold themselves in place. But, I will use several drops of thickened epoxy to make them semi-permanent -- removable, that is, in case a need arises.

This is my first Yost boat, so, I'm unsure how much the PVC skin will flex, and whether it may contact the bottom of the floor. The rails are at keel and stringer edges, where skin deflection will be least. Everything is rounded to allow for possible contact.

As a narrow, multi-chined boat, the width of these boards is less than on most Yost designs. I don't know if this setup would work on a single-chined or wider boat. I don't know if the support rails would hold up to a heavy paddler. In fact, I just have to hope they'll hold up to me, as I have imagined.

Boat House @ Platamonas

It is actually a tavern by the sea. Literally on top of the water... and next to the rails.

Perhaps surprisingly, I was not the only one to ask Dave to sign their copy of Agile Web Development with Rails at this years No Fluff, Just Stuff Java conference in Dallas.

Indian Rail... Go far and narrow

The box included a bunch of rails, all blue, of three various moulds. The first is a straight piece of rail, which is still used (I'm thinking of the ones from the Fantasy Era Dwarves' Mine). The other two are compatible with it. One is a bit longer than the other, and is meant for the outside curve, whereas the shorter is for the inside.

Two of these fabrics are repeats, but I tried a new design. I am still iffy on the machine quilting. I supposed I need to practice, practice, practice!

I used the Triple Rails pattern from Ursula Reikes Even More Quilts for Baby.
