Jun 16 - With the higher level of water, at Concord's Great Meadows, there has been some increased sightings of Virginia Rails. This heavily cropped photo shows one of the adults taking a rest in a bush along one of the paths.

These were from a little bridge we crossed, heading from Marsh Barton industrial estate over the canal towards the Double Locks pub.

While cleaning up my computer table I found an SD card of pics I took in Florida April 2013. It had fallen down in back of my desk and never processed. Luck is still with me , I guess LOL!

Part of the rail network to be found at Pembroke Dock, some still on MOD land but this part is home to various small companies, this was at one time connected to the main line.

You can use Heated Towel Rails with your in kitchen and restroom to heat your warm towels. You can append this anywhere in your home. Generally positioned on the earth floor, the bath was prepared of brick, sometimes with a nearby restrain to sit on.

I borrowed R's 50mm f1.8 the other day and tried a few depth of field experiments. I showed this picture to him this morning, and despite the fact that it's somewhere he's been several times, he couldn't work out what it is.

Can you guess what it is?

The rails stretched from the kitchens to the dining room when the house was in full formal use and were for moving food quickly. Or so we were told when we were students there.

Rails, like solicitors, seems to be unpopular here. Rubyists: if you listen to what Hyde Pier says you will keep off Rails.

We took a leisurely hike on part of the old railway route that has been converted to walking trails. It was really peaceful considering part of the trail goes right through the edge of town. There were lots of blackberry bushes just starting to ripen, so we'll definitely have to go back to pick some berries soon.

There was an extra day this year! 2-29-2020! I spent my extra day photographing graffiti.

Left the house today and it was warm and nice out. By the time I got to my spot it was windy, cloudy and cold, and me without a jacket. Had my spot pretty much alone for the 4-5 hours I was there. A few trucks drove through etc.. With the wind I had a hard time telling when a freight was coming as I couldn't hear them. I can usually hear the whistle from either above or below my spot, so I know which way they're coming from. Still don't know on which track.

There's 4 tracks, 3 close by and one much further down the hill. If I stay towards the middle between rails 2-3, and 1, I can move back and forth pretty quickly, they're about 1/4 mile apart. But certain times of the day I'm going to be shooting one rail or the other into the sun unless I run, and I'll be running in desert sand. Not as easy as it would seem. So some shots I do my best to edit in post so the backlighting isn't f-ing up my shots.

Anyway, as always, I saw some cool pieces today, got out of the house, and had some fun.

Thanks to all the writers, keep doin' what you do!!
