In addition to never catching the CKIN in action, I had also never seen CSX service their interchange, either. We were able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone on this day, getting to see CKIN and CSX in Union Mills/Wellsboro at the same time! Here GP40-2 #6151 leads local J716 off of the connection between the former PM and the B&O after dropping off a string of cars for the Chicken. The train will now head back east to Garret, IN.

The day is almost over as BNSF's Provo to Lincoln manifest races east through the small town of Roggen, Colorado, on March 30, 2018. This is the second of four eastbound trains the westbound coal load in the background is waiting for.

Het is half zeven als de overwegwachter op zijn fluitje blaast. Via de portofoon heeft de overwegwachter zojuist te horen gekregen dat trein 219 naar Teheran vanaf het drie kilometer verderop gelegen station van Sari is vertrokken. Het sluiten van de overweg is hier geen sinecure en vergt een goede timing; tot op het laatste moment blijft het verkeer van de drukke rondweg de overweg passeren. Wanneer de bomen dalen weet op het allerlaatste moment een Mercedes vrachtwagen van het type ‘Kurzhauber’ met piepende remmen te stoppen, terwijl de overwegwachter met een enigszins bezorgde blik aan de slinger blijft draaien. Het brullen van de zware diesellok is al goed te horen als teken dat de trein weldra de overweg zal passeren.

IAIS 150 leads BISI through Geneseo, Illinois on an early snowy morning, kicking up the fresh fallen snow as it races through town.

Lancaster and Chester 12 crosses Main Street in Richburg, South Carolina with two former CSX EMD SD60s on lead.

The locomotive was built in 1993 as Conrail EMD SD60 5567 and then CSXT 8784 before becomng L&C 8784.

Q327 rolls across 36th St in Kentwood with an ex Conrail C40-8 leading an HLCX (ex UP) SD60 and 4 Geeps that were picked up in Lansing to be brought to GR for servicing. Ex Conrail C40-8s were pretty rare on CSX, with there being only 25 to begin with. CSX only got 10 of them after the Conrail split, and only a handful had ever gotten CR Quality paint. #7491 was eventually repainted in 2009 and later retired in 2016 when CSX got rid of all of their standard-cab Dash 8s.

Für M62-1556 an der Spitze und TEM2-145 sollte es erst nach dem Personenverkehr eine halbe Stunde später weitergehen.

On February 23, 2021, BNSF's Cheyenne Local powered with SD70MAC Nos. 9658 and 9621 head down to North Yard in Fort Collins, Colorado, to pick up their cars the Longmont Switch brought for them to take north to Cheyenne. In the background, the Longmont Switch hooks onto the cars the Cheyenne Local brought for them to take south to Longmont.
