i had a really good shoot today. the lighting was almost perfect and i have new ideas that i'm ready to try out tomorrow wooo. and loll, sandusky is on suicide watch. somehow this amuses me.

hmm, i had to think about this for a while but i think they should change the drinking age to 18. i really don't understand how you can become an adult at 18: free to make your own decisions and live on your own but yet, you still can't drinkk.

Awesome sunset from late October in the Texas Panhandle. I tried to line things up to make it look like the tree branches were radiating the crepuscular rays.

Eroded ridges leading to the base of Factory Butte near Hanksville, Utah. This drone image was taken just after sunset on October 6th, 2022.
You'd be forgiven for thinking this was in a cathedral. It's actually inside the dome of the dining hall in Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.
Murray Edwards is an all-female college in the University of Cambridge. (It was originally named New Hall when first founded.) Its building was designed by architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon (known for designing London's Barbican Centre) and was completed in 1965.

My first visit to White Sands National Monument. Since there are military bases all around, the park is closed up until sunrise, and just after sunset. In other words, right when the amazing light occurs. You can pay a ranger $50 to open the gate early for you or let you out late, which I decided to do this morning. That was the best $50 I ever spent. The early morning light is amazing, and I pretty much had the place to myself. None of the photos I took do this place justice, but you get the idea.
