i had a really good shoot today. the lighting was almost perfect and i have new ideas that i'm ready to try out tomorrow wooo. and loll, sandusky is on suicide watch. somehow this amuses me.

hmm, i had to think about this for a while but i think they should change the drinking age to 18. i really don't understand how you can become an adult at 18: free to make your own decisions and live on your own but yet, you still can't drinkk.

Beauty cames from struggles, from falling over and over and over again and getting up again and again. It cames from roadblocks, figuring a way around them and working though them. It cames from being more brave than your fears. From heartbreaks and hundred of tears. True beauty is always the battles you have conquered. Perseverence, patience, determination, grit. And, of course, the beauty of being a genuinely compassionate human surpasses everything. There is nothing more truly gorgeous than a kind soul, wich makes an entire aura radiate.

Awesome sunset from late October in the Texas Panhandle. I tried to line things up to make it look like the tree branches were radiating the crepuscular rays.

I met Tam on a very cold and crisp morning on Cockenzie village's coastal path (Scotland) just after sunrise. He saw me with my camera, came to me with a big smile and we started a really interesting and open conversation about our appreciation for the beauty of nature, music and about life itself.
I've found out a bit about his early life as well; he was growing up as the second youngest child out of 13 siblings, and when he was a child and saw his older brothers drinking, Tam had decided that no matter what, he will be different from them.
So he started working hard and earn money from an early age and has had many jobs throughout his life, from working on farms to upkeeping and guarding empty hotels, from driving trucks across Scotland to painting and decorating houses. He is nearly seventy now, but he is not planning to stop working anytime soon.
He said, from all the money he saved up staying away from drinking, he went backpacking all around Europe and saw all his favourite bands performing live in the 70's and 80's which memories he will never forget.
He is also a proud father of his 13 years old son, who has just bought himself his own boat and an engine from his work to go out to the sea and do fishing as a passion.
Tam struck me as a man who radiates strength, kindness, and who walks his own path with open eyes.
You'd be forgiven for thinking this was in a cathedral. It's actually inside the dome of the dining hall in Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.
Murray Edwards is an all-female college in the University of Cambridge. (It was originally named New Hall when first founded.) Its building was designed by architects Chamberlin, Powell and Bon (known for designing London's Barbican Centre) and was completed in 1965.
Radiating its bright fuchsia color, this tropical Rocktrumpet flower adds beauty wherever it is planted. Also called Mandevilla, it grows natively in the Southwest of the United States and Central and South America. Taken with my iPhone 14. Happy weekend to everyone!
