THE RAD GALLERY is a curatorial project and pop-up gallery devoted to showcasing emerging art and design talent to the international marketplace. Active in discovering new talent internationally and promoting unique exhibitions and events in London and New York, RAD aims to awaken interest and drive attention to the field of up-and-coming contemporary design.
At Clerkenwell Design Week, RAD is pleased to present a brand new collection of hair filament chandeliers by South Korean artist Dari Bae. Titled 'Royal Family', Bae’s new collection of chandeliers are formally inspired by the symbol of the crown and include hair taken from factory workers. In addition, RAD is pleased to unveil a brand new table made entirely of sugar designed by the Royal College of Art standout Nicholas Paget.
Silver - "Don't give up". Aleksandra's pasta rings (Oct. 13) reminded me of Hobo codes. Most of the symbols they used were to communicate how to work a situation i.e. dog, they arrest hobos here, tell pitiful story, can sleep in hayloft. I only found one symbol that didn't. "Don't give up".

The past 2 times I've been in my studio I have seen a tiny little spider. I *am* scared of spiders, but this one is so small that it doesn't bother me. My plan was to add the spider to the web I drew on my finger. Naturally, once I had the web ready, the spider couldn't be found! So after lots of looking, I gave up. I will have to try again on another day.

I've got to day 3 lets see if I can make it all the way to the end!
This was an enameling test. I wanted to see how the enamel would work on the fork prongs. I'm actually kind of surprised to see that the enamel did not pop off due to tension. However I did enamel both sides in the same firing, so that might have helped.
This is part of a collar I bought for Bailey. I'm trying to train her to behave properly on a leash, ie, not pull. I needed to adjust the size of the collar, which involved removing these two links.
