We had as many as 80 rabbits at one time. This is a picture of some of the youngsters, just about at the right age for butchering.

Well fed city rabbit in Detroit

Sprawled out in the shade trying to keep cool on a very hot day, this rabbit was not perturbed in any way by my presence on a trail at the Estero Llano Grande State Park.
