Back at Richmond RT 1594 arrived. Recorded as being derelict in 82 and restored in 84, it also passed thruogh the sales side at Copbham before find a home in Northampton and later Pinner and Dorset.
At certain times of the day when the 339 and 396 routes are running in association with the Epping Ongar Railway three RT type vehicles can be seen together at North Weald station before they head off on their respective journeys.
RT3228 is waiting to head off on route 396 to Harlow,RT3871 is the next departure to Epping with RT1700 forming the following Epping service.

Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Rt Hon Karen Bradley MP was delighted to host a reception celebrating the achievements of Northern Ireland’s 2018 Commonwealth Games team at Stormont House this evening.
The reception provided an opportunity for the Secretary of State to personally congratulate a number of the competitors and officials who contributed to making Gold Coast 2018, Northern Ireland’s most successful ever Games held outside the UK. Among those attending were Rhys McClenaghan, who won gold on the Pommel Horse, and Dame Mary Peters, Patron to the team.
During a speech, the Secretary of State told the athletes that their achievements made all of Northern Ireland proud and will inspire a generation.

Downhill on Rt. 389, in front of the dam. Dust and gravel!
Driving south on Rt. 389 in Quebec, we turned a corner and there was the Manic-5 dam (also called the Daniel-Johnson Dam), on the Manicouagan River. It was totally unexpected, though we did have a reservation at the Motel de l'Énergie, just south of the dam.
Of course, this necessitated another delay, as we decided to stay in the morning and do the wonderful tour of the dam.
