Route 101 South. First day in California, we spent the day at 6 flags, an amusement park known for its coasters, amongst the biggest in the world! While driving on Mulholland Drive from east to West (that is from the sea to the Hollywood sign), we ended up facing downtown LA. The city seems...

Yes, Westbourne Park garage did operate a route all the way to Dulwich. The full service was Stanmore to South Croxted Road. This was shortly before it was cut back to operate Stanmore-Victoria. I wouldn't have thought that 'South Croxted Rd, Alleyn Park' meant much to the average passenger at Stanmore!

Outbound Keolis/MBTA train 873 for Stoughton pauses at the Route 128/University Park station with F40PH-3C 1061 in the lead here on Main 1 of Amtrak's New Haven Line at about MP 127.2.
The modern Route 128 station sits right on the Dedham/Westwood town line and is the 23rd busiest on the entire Amtrak system and every single train both regional and Acela stop here along with 68 MBTA trains presently, all on just the two main tracks. Originally opened by predecessor New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad in 1953 it actually sits at the location of the historic Green Lodge Station that was served from 1860 until the mid 1920s. When opened by the New Haven it was among the first dedicated park and ride stations in the country in an attempt by the railroad to retain passengers who lived in the growing suburbs outside the urban core of Boston served by the traditional central city stations. Modernized over the years, it continues to serve the purpose as envisioned by the NH now with 2750 parking spaces for commuters and intercity travelers.

Created for Saturday Self-Challenge ~ Macro B&W
I wasn't happy with anything that I took so I have actually combined two shots here - one of the router which was changed into a Speherical Panorama in PS and then I had a macro of a hole in the wall, that only looked good if turned into a 3D ball, so that ended up here as well.
