I like these art pieces that exist after graffiti has been painted over. I find them calming and almost beautiful with their giant blocks of colour.

Signing books at the Portland Art Museum ... he had spoken on his father's book "The Artist's Reality" that he edited.
This painting was inspired by a Rothko untitled abstract as the title indicates.
The bright colors is what attracted me to this painting.
It took quite a bit of layering - at least 6 layers - and quite a bit of paint. I think I actually used an entire tube of quinacridone magenta and cadmium red with hints of naples yellow, yellow ochre, and cadmium yellow.
Pretty close to the original. What do you think? :)
