This is another view of the rose I photographed back in December which I didn't flickrize at that time for some reason no longer remembered. I used PS to remove the background completely so there is just Rose. One thing you will notice is that the colors in this photo are much more muted than those in the photo shown in the comments section. In fact, the bright colors in the comments rose are closer to reality than this rose, especially the yellow.

Another photo of my wife's knock out roses. These have a fading cone flower in the background. It is difficult to pass these up each time I walk out with the camera and long lens.
