Built to commemorate the miraculous ice bridge that formed at the end of winter in 1879 over the St Lawrence River.
I was trying to shoot some nice pics with my macro option, I saw my Rosary so I shot some pics of it! Please comment!
This rosary, on display at the Criminal Museum in Rothenburg, is what had to be worn by those who fell asleep in or missed Sunday services in some Medieval towns.
It is high time this practice be recovered.

The Holy Rosary Church on 3rd Street NW in Washington DCF, USA.
This church was formed to serve DC's Italian community, and is connected to the Casa Italiana, where oddly enough I once took lessons in Portuguese.
I have found myself making Rosaries and giving them away as gifts... This one was made from rose and ivory colored glass pearls with glass tube beads as spacers and a cute little gold cross to match the ivory as the crucifix.
I also forgot to take pictures of the other 3... 2 I have in my posession and the 3rd I gave to my grandmother-in-law for her birthday.
