Rosary Church is a 19th century French church located in Shettihalli village near Hassan (Karnataka, India). In the 60s this was abandoned during the construction of Hemavati dam. The old dilapidated structure could be immersed in the reservoir or exposed based on the time of your visit.

Anglican Rosary: Lava Stone, natural hematite, sterling silver African cross

While Jesus was praying His face changed in appearance and His clothing became dazzling white. And behold two men were conversing with Him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His exodus that He was going to accomplish in Jerusalem."

(Luke 9:28-31)

This rosary is part of With Love from Mom's Luminous Collection, a special series of one of a kind rosaries based on reflections of the Luminous Mysteries.

A light seems to emanate from the opal sea glass beads used in this rosary. All have the same milky white tones with a slight translucence. The Hail Mary beads are 7 to 8mm round, and the coin-shaped Our Father beads are slightly larger with an intricately carved design. Adorned in gold, this rosary is certainly a reminder of the light of Christ and the glory of His kingdom!

35th annual Rosary Sunday draws thousands devoted to Mary, holy rosary

In a kaleidoscope of colors, sound and movement, more than 6,000 faithful in the Phoenix Diocese gathered to honor Mary in the most anticipated Catholic event of the year, Rosary Sunday.

Under her title Mary, Help of Christians, the 35th annual celebration continued its traditional offerings of confession, adoration, benediction and recitation of the rosary.

The downtown Phoenix Convention Center opened its doors Oct. 10 to ethnically diverse members of the Body of Christ whose public prayers in different tongues paid homage to Mary, especially for her protection of the unborn.

Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted was greeted with a standing ovation from an enthusiastic crowd that filled the seats, as others searched for open spots.

“Today, we see how Mary is the mother of all of us,” Bishop Olmsted said in his bilingual address.

Auxilary Bishop Eduardo Nevares, recently back from a trip to Rome, delivered an apostolic blessing from Pope Benedict, which was received with a round of applause.

Christy O’Gara said she attended the event for the second year with her six children so they could “see all those that love Jesus.”

“Now, more than ever, we desire to be together as witnesses to the world,” O’Gara said.

Saint Bernard, a reformer of the Cistercian order and a fervent proponent of the cult of Mary, gathers with his family around the throne of the Virgin. This triptych was commissioned by Jeanne de Boubais, abbess of the Cistercian convent of Flines; she is shown at the righ in the guise of Saint Bernard's sister, Humbeline, and for this reason wears the black Benedictine habit. Represented on the exterior wings is Bernard's vision of the Vergin, who it is said, miraculously wet the saint's lips with her milk.

Sept. 11, 2005--I interrupted this man as he said his roasary while eating a carrot and walking around a deserted parking lot next to St. Mary's Cathedral. He said he was homeless and living in his car after his wife left him. The Lord told him to say the rosary four times daily and wait for his wife to return. His relationship with God became more personal after he gave up on priests' counseling.

The feast day procession of the Nuestra Señora del Santisimo Rosario de Marikina which is probably one of the oldest devotions in Marikina City . The image comes out in a short morning procession, and a long evening procession where she is accompanied by her entourage of Dominican Saints and Blessed and the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. In this well-preserved, brilliantly detailed triptych the talents of a landscape specialist - a follower of Patinir's - have been combined with those of the figurative painter Joos van Cleve. Perhaps commissioned by an Italian patron, the work has a Genoese provenance, and the two saints in the right-hand panel, Anthony of Padua and Nicholas of Tolentino, were popular in Southern Europe.

The Frame is original but regilt.

Holy Rosary Church (Wat Gal Wa; วัดกาลหว่าร์) closer Si Praya Pier of the Chao Phraya river just south of Yaowarat, Chinatown, Bangkok Thailand.

The Thai name for this Catholic church was originally Kalawario, a Thai transliteration of Calvary, the mount on which Jesus Christ was crucified. The name was later changed to Kalawar.

Inspired from a line of the Creed, "...conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary..." Blue 'Ave' beads (lapi lazuli) are used to represent Mary. The Holy Spirit medal is again used. Constructed using traditional rosary loops.
