A la recherche des meilleures versions, ce sont environ une cinquantaine de bootlegs qui ont été épluchés, comparés puis remasterisées au format .aiff, afin d'avoir une écoute la plus homogène possible.

Vous avez en main le fin du fin des enregistrements réalisés pour la BBC, radio nationale anglaise, détaillé grâce à l'aide du fameux site ‘The Complete Works of The Rolling’ website (http://www.nzentgraf.de/books/tcw/works1.htm).

La remasterisation effectuée est un travail d'amateur, avec ses défauts et ses qualités.

L'ensemble prend cependant une dimension et un dynamisme jamais entendus jusqu'alors, le but étant de réveiller nos oreilles engourdies depuis près de cinquante années sans magie numérique. Les puristes auront toujours les versions originales…

Toutes ses perles sont réunies chronologiquement, et présentées soigneusement dans une pochette soulignant la particularité de ces titres inédits exhumés des rayonnages.

One of their totally unknown album to me - until 1988 when I got it as a double LP set. And yet - it was still quite strange to me until March 07 when I finally made a MP3 copy of it.

And now after the Bigger Bang concert (summer-07) I must check it

again to hear the tracks that they were playing from

this album: Tumbling Dice, All Down the Line and Sweet Virginia.

- not so bad, at all...
