As a more relaxed type of holiday, we rode a lot of these so called White Roads, which criss cross Tuscany. Mostly in good condition but can catch you out in places by being soft under tyre.

One of the last photos from Ulpha in the lakes, I was out inspecting the road to see if it was drivable in my Z4 rain and floods so we had to leave a day early. It's still raining with a hurricane now heading in that direction.
I don't have much to say about this image except that it portrays my heart and soul correctly. This was actually taken through the windshield. The roads are wet as it was sprinkling before we went through this foggy pass and then it began to snow. You'll have to forgive the light blurs of rain throughout the picture and lack of sharpness for that reason. Roads always make me think about the journey of life. The beauty on the sides, the dark clouds that hover at times, the fog of the unknown that covers our knowledge of what lies int he future. I am so thankful for the beauty that surrounds us on our journeys. Sometimes I have to look for it and sometimes its on the side of the road disguised as a splash of color before the storm hits. And sometimes regardless of how hard the storm is, there is beauty in the storm as well. Sorry for such somber message my friend, I hope it also encourages you if you are on your own darker road to intentionally find the color. Its there, take it, admire it - use it for strength! much love to you all xx Rachel
Antes de nada, tres cositas:
1. El color del cielo, obviamente, es ficticio. En ese momento era azul. Las nubes sí son reales.
2. Perdón por los fallos (apreciables a simple vista) de la foto. Me estoy haciendo con las capas de relleno y me he dado cuenta de que hay que tener una paciencia de santo.
3. Yo no iba conduciendo.

i switched the WB to neon1. Otherwise i need to change the WB in postproducton usually ... in this case it was not needed.
