In this particular stage, the shooter would fire ten round from the rifle in a seated position. Stand and fire 4 round from the shotgun and then walk over, mount the sawhorse saddle and fire 5 round from two pistols. As soon as he was done shooting the shotgun everyone suddenly realized that the pistols were still on his hip instead of having been prepositioned on the saddle holsters (for safety). As the Range Officer considered this oversight to be his fault (even though everyone else missed it as well) it was agreed that the shooter would have a chance to do the entire stage over from the beginning.
