This ro-ro cargo ferry was built in Turkey back in 1984. It has a gross tonnage of 1905 and regularly sails between Istanbul in Turkey and Famagusta in Northern Cyprus.

i noticed ro's curly locks from across swanston st and crossed over to see if he would mind being part of my stranger project, as i got closer i realised ro was busking and busy organising his range of vinyl with cool stencils sprayed directly onto the records, he had also utilised the old covers to make the stencils, i guess it helped with the cardboard being both durable and the right size, ro is from chile and has been stencilling for several years, he said he doesn't spray anywhere but on vinyl, i can't think of a better way to meet people and support yourself while travelling, communication wasn't that easy and it took a while to explain about the project and then to work out if ro was saying that it was ok or not ok for me to make his portrait, after my lame attempt at a bad hair day joke we worked it out and after giving ro a card i grabbed a quick shot before leaving him to get back to his spray painting
