2014-06-07 2619-CR2-L1 Saturday morning I went to the Riverview Airport (Jenison Airport) to watch the planes as they had a "Fly-In" to help support the "West Michigan Flight Academy" I stood at the end of the runway and got a few shots. I shot this one with a lower shutter speed to get the movement in the propeller. But at this slower shutter speed the plane was a little fuzzy (wings) . But I think I like it better with the propeller this way .
Unfortunately, later in the night, when I made it further down the Kusawa Lake road, the Aurora had quieted down, but it was still enough to cast a lovely pale green glow down onto the waters of the Takhini River.

The Riverview covered bridge, carrying the Indian Trail foot traffic across the Ashtabula River. This is one solid bridge, wide enough and sturdy enough to carry vehicles across. Bridge #19 this one is for our proud Ashtabula County - home of both the nation's longest and shortest covered bridges.

The once busy branch of the St. Marys coming off the old Seaboard Air Line at Kingsland that once served a large paper mill is nothing more than a 10-mile branch with some storage and a Georgia Pacific plant. Having some time to kill and never being to the area, it was kind of neat to stumble upon this super friendly crew and follow them to the end of the line.
Today, even though I was so tired I’ve done little other than shower and lay down all day, Dracula took me to a cemetery I can tell I’m going to be visiting over and over again. Riverview Cemetery in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This is one of the oldest cemeteries here in town and home of a fabled weeping woman statue. I felt out of sorts, as I’m fully exhausted and still pretty dysregulated from the last week of U-hauls, driving, moving, and cleaning. I am so excited to get to know this town even more and find all the beautiful cemeteries.
