Routines, habits, rituals and traditions... a natural progression.
We seem to need rituals and traditions, they give us a sense of control even when we face uncertainty.
And usually we create rituals around the things that we value or like, the things we are willing to prioritize and spend time and energy.
I think we need that "break" from real life.. and we need the meaning a ritual brings... even if it's just the making of a morning coffee. 😉
i am so not a morning person and don't function well until i've had my 1st cup of jasmine tea... it helps clear all those cobwebs from my head. how about you... do you have any morning rituals that work for you?
