My friend who made these beach glass figures for me, passed away this morning after a period of failing health. She was a treasure, a poet and an artist. We will all miss you Frances.

Not far from here a truck claimed the life of a healthy bull moose. It makes me angry that people do not drive according to conditions - or area and cause unnecessary deaths. The moose like to lick the salt off the roads so people should be driving with this in mind. A truck can be fixed, a broken leg is a death sentence for a moose.

In 2003, I had a bit of an accident with a rip saw and neighbour Ian did a really neat job of fixing it for me as you can see. I thought I'd lost this pic so when it surfaced, I bunged it on Flickr for safe-keeping.
My beta fish was originally named Kayne West but then i kinda lost interest in Kayne so i changed his name to Mrs. Norris (Mr. Filch's cat). I don't think he mined having "mrs." in his name that much. I made a big deal about my fish dying. It was the first pet i took care of all by myself. He meant a lot to me. My relationship with a human ended around the same time too, so the death of both kinda just added to each other.
There was too much going on for me to continue with flickr. Since school is over maybe ill start again.
I also got a new laptop and i cant find my photoshop CD!@#!#!@#!@ Can someone help me with getting photoshop maybe?
I really want to get into portrait photography. So i need advice on what HARDWARE and ACCESSORIES I need to look into buying.

My friend David's (guitarist) Rage Against the Machine tribute band "Rip the System" play a show this past Thursday night at Haileys in Denton, Texas. To put it simply, the ROCKED! It was one of those shows where I had difficulty getting my shots because I was getting so into the music. It was a great evening of rock'n roll.

My dog Twm sadly left this world this morning at 10am. He was about 15 years old and had been in my life for over 13 years. Always be remembered. Rescued from Swansea, Wales.
Every Halloween my family and I set up a Haunted House.
This is the new costume I bought this year.
I ordered it on line at HorrorDome.com
It was on sale for $200.00 dollars.
The regular price was $350.00.
A savings of $150.00 dollars.
The only problem was two of the teeth were ripping away from the mask.
After talking to the company, I had a choice of returning the full costume or returning just the head.
Returning the costume would cost me the shipping fee to return it, PLUS a 25% restocking fee. (restocking fee 50.00). To return the head for a new one I would have to pay to ship the mask back to them. I thought to me self... SCREW IT! I will just glue the teeth in myself, I have already payed enough money out.
