We lost Tabasco, Monday night. She put up a good fight but in the end did not have the strength to carry on. She was a Peruvian Paso and they are prone to ligament issues. She had surgery earlier this summer and was doing well. But last week her other leg starting having issues from all the weight it had to carry so she was put down late Monday night. We are all saddened by this. She had a good life and was in her late 20's. The animal communicator told her owner she is at the Rainbow Bridge now and is in charge of everyone..LOL

I ripped my jeans pretty bad after racing Tom and Tucker back to Residence La Darsena. Word to the wise, mixing drinking, foot races and leather loafers is a bad idea.

The first ripped finger I've had in a while climbing, thanks to a heinous sidepull on Minor Threat (8a).
Found myself wandering around an older part of town when I noticed this, what looks to be an old school house that may in fact have been originally, a workhouse... the stencilled sign towards the rear is the name of Jack-the-Rippers first known victim! there are, apparently, five of these signs in Whitechapel and they just appeared in 2007, probably the work of one of the London Tour company's!!! I have done a lot of work over the years in this immediate vicinity and never quite realised how close I was :-)
They (The City) added all this nice rip rap to the shoreline, I understand it is because it was eroding, but this use to be a nice beach and now it is turned into a nice place to cut your feet on sharp rocks or glass bottles!
