Meghna River, Narsingdi, 2010

On a quiet evening, I find myself in a charming club. As I listen to an enticing melody, I admire the subtle beauty of the surroundings.

It's one of these moment where music and atmosphere blend harmoniously.

I was immediately drawn to the repeating diamond pattern on this building facade. Looking up, I positioned my camera to capture just the pattern itself, removing any context that would identify the structure.

Working in black and white helped emphasize the strong contrast between the white panels and the dark shadows they create. I love how the diagonal arrangement creates this sense of movement across the frame, almost like a visual rhythm.

What I find fascinating about architectural photography is finding these moments where function becomes pure form. By focusing tightly on just this section, a practical building element transforms into something more abstract - a study in repetition and light.

The clean, high-contrast look gives it an almost graphic quality, like something designed on paper rather than built in the real world. Sometimes the most interesting architectural photos aren't of the entire building, but of the thoughtful details most people walk right past.

I had low expectations for visiting such a popular location. Neither did I have preconceived ideas for photo compositions. I knew I would be there with harsh light which further lowered expectations. But the beauty of this place was stunning and the hike to get there was lots of fun!

What better than to follow the rhythm of nature, in these busy days that we live, where everything goes so fast. When we feel bad or we are simply saturated, it is best to disconnect in a natural environment...

I do it, I combine it with two things, with sports and with photography, many times I go running like crazy in these places with my music and sometimes I go for a walk and photograph in these places, but in both cases, I really enjoy it, and that's what it's all about for me! If you need time for yourself, try this in any natural environment! you will be fine!

Those of you who follow me regularly know about these forests that we have around here, I have dozens of photographs like this one that I try to publish little by little so as not to bore you...

It's for me a unique sensation to walk and photograph this in solitude. Yes, I really believe that the magic of this for me is doing it alone, me the camera and the forest...

Have a happy day!

This image has a special meaning for me. This past November I survived a nasty heart attack, and have been looking for an image to express my journey back to health. I was walking on the Beach with my Wife the other evening and noticed wave like patterns arranged vertically and horizontally along the shore. The foreground represents the erratic heart rhythm and darkness that enveloped me at the time of the event, and in the background, the calming heart rhythm and light as my journey continues in a positive direction.

I love the ocean because every time the waves left the shore, they always came back. The regular recurrence of sound is at the heart of nature phenomena. Dance with the waves, move with the sea. Nikon D750 24-7mm.

I miss getting to play live. Here are some of my instruments. Getting my gear out in the open so that I have no excuse but to play, to maintain, to fix them (once in a while). #We Are Here #WH #Hereios #We're Here
