Seen laying over in Sevenoaks bus station during the Sevenoaks running day, RF 495 carried fleet number RF 592 for the day. RF 592 was based at Dunton Green garage from 1969 until withdrawn for scrap in 1975. Sunday 18th May 2008. DSCN3979.

I suspect that the engineers at Stonebridge would have provided a set of batteries in exchange for suitable beer vouchers. It would have meant less use of Pioneer's Transit and jump set!

Moscow Aviation Repair Plant (MARZ Rosto) at Chernoye Airfield (XUMH) on August 11, 2012. Former DOSAAF Rosto Vladimir Antonov (PZL-Mielec) An-2T RF-02335 (1G161-22). This aircraft was according to "russianplanes.net" delivered new to DOSAAF in 1975 with the tactical number "57". It was registered RF-02335 in 2001. It has been stored at Chernoye in an increasing poor condition since 2009.
Seen later the day of the previous view, RF 202 (NF) waits again at Ash 'White Swan' on route 490. Friday 14th July 1978. 4H-11.
Home for three nights. Fortunately the station gents toilets weren't closed at night, because there was no door, although getting there in the dark after a few pints was interesting!
Preserved Regal IV (RF) bus, RF401 (MXX 289) stands at North Weald whilst resting between duties on the shuttle service from the station to the airfield in connection with the 'Norwegian Wings over North Weald' event.
