These pictures were taken at the finished borehole (well) in MAKEMO, UGANDA.

Restored frescos in the choir. These frescos were painted over at least 3 times over the centuries, until they were rediscovered and restored in the latter half of the 20th century. Unfortunately, the frescos were not all able to be restored, but they give an idea of what the full set of original frescos looked like.

These two vases had already received their conservation treatment and were awaiting packaging for storage. The pic doesn't really do them justice...
