U okviru aktivnosti vezanih uz podatkovnu infrastrukturu Srce posebnu pažnju želi posvetiti promoviranju sustavne brige za prikupljanje, čuvanje i objavljivanje podataka u sustavu obrazovanja i znanosti.

Cilj Dana digitalnih repozitorija bio je na jednom mjestu okupiti sve one koji razvijaju i održavaju digitalne repozitorije ili to tek namjeravaju, a radi razmjene znanja i iskustava.
