The repository for the Maritime Museum Amsterdam is the highly secured marine area behind a wall. The building is 90 meters long and is dominated by three humps of 18 meters high, making a characteristic shape that is formed above the wall. These bumps follow the contours of the plants underneath. The building is completely sealed and coated with titanium. In the interior are less than fully climatized storage also available. Restoration workshops The storage areas are completely separated by means of a concrete box-in-box construction of the outer skin.
