A last minute thought and photo this week, thanks to Andy for the idea and help! Also for this week's theme in 52 weeks of pix - repetition.
it was pretty warm today, so i took a bunch of pictures. i didn't even realize my arm was parallel to the branches until i looked at the photo on my camera. i like how it's like that :)
I found this on a construction site and liked the repeating patterns/shapes. Shot in black and white mode originally.
A loaded Ethanol tank train highballing one of the signals on the Canadian National Duqbuque sub on a hazy day with lots of heat haze obscuring the green signal in the distance
This is my newest picture for the 365 group and the new theme "Repetition".
Nice illuminated wall in a modern store in the city.
Shot with a Fuji X100's, processed in Aperture using VSCO Film Pack 02.
Solomon's Seal is a flowering plant that leaves nothing to chance. Let me repeat myself. Let me repeat myself.
n. the action of repeating something that has already been said or written. or photographed. or complained about.
though i like to push my boundaries, i find comfort in repetition. i'm drawn to the same scene, but with a slightly different vision. as artists, we might hear the mantra "be original, don't repeat." yet i find great value in the repetition.
Inside the New Cathedral in Salamanca.
I don't do flowers (though I am finding that I like them more and more) but this is my architectural interpretration of "flower macros."

The cafe in the atrium of the Morgan Library, Manhattan, provides interesting patterns in light and shadow. The atrium is part of a major expansion to the Morgan Library designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano. We visit this museum almost every time we visit New York City as the exhibits are interesting and well curated.
Thanks for all of your support. Have a super Sunday.
