That poor dog seems reluctant, yet resigned, to approach the portal to a surreal cosmic void. I can't say I blame him.

(I saw Chris Christian post one of these murals, so I felt spurred to "join the conversation"...)

#2107 - 2013 Day 280: My car hasn't moved for two weeks, so the spiders have moved in. I was reluctant to disturb them ...

Izzy the red panda at ZooAtlanta is always hiding and has foiled us in our attempts to get a photo. She took some time on Saturday to "allow" us to get a shot or two. She's just the cutest thing!

This wasn't as hazardous as I thought it would be. Tumi and Trýna were pretty chill about it. Not thrilled but not attacking or making any noise. As far as I could tell, they greeted via nose sniff and then agreed to ignore each others' existence...

First Blush Ayumi

P.S. Ayumi is wearing a beautiful dress by AquatalisBoutique.

Check their Etsy shop, guys! The design and quality are beyond any praises!

I wrote this in my head...

The meager wind pulls around my ears

My hair dancing like snakes around the head of Medusa... LOL

Beginning of April, most treasure still skeletal, here and there a promising blossoming beauty.

April gives and takes, One day, warm sun caressing your Winter skin, the next, boots and gives and biting wind.

Have a lovely day, M, (*_*)

I would like to carry one of these in my pocket.

I made a composite of three images in photoshop to achieve my composition. For the setup I used three 580 ex11 speedlites, the first was placed to the right and rear of the subject in a softbox @ 1/4 power. The second strobe in a softbox @ 1/4 power was again right of the camera at 45 deg to the subject for key. The third strobe was left of camera in a stripbox @ 1/4 power and used for fill.

With the autumn fall now gone and the Winter Solstice about to arrive in Australia tomorrow, this deciduous tree seems not to want to shed last summer's colourful display. Then again, it's nature that will decide when to make the change, not we with our calendar expectations.

Out and about on a coastal walk I thought I would try out the Brenizer technique used my wife as a model although she was in a hurry to get to the beach and didn't want to model for me

This male refused to come in to the set up while I was out but I managed to pull in this shot.

We woke to 3 inches of wet snow this morning. More forecast for tonight. Had been in the 70sF (20sC) ) earlier in the week.

HaHa. My granddaughter was being bribed again with ice cream and chips, in order to model for me. It was boring and hot and she was ready to leave.

Persia tolerated us taking her photo that day. I played with this image to focus on her mesmerizing eyes. Check out the large size (click all sizes) - but don't drown in those pools of green - you've been warned.

I hope not because I do enjoy photographing them. Mr Rufus is the wise one, I think, and Bella seems to look to him for guidance. :)
