A garden snail racing around the rim of a glass.
Latin name Cornu asperum. This a juvenile, the shell is approximately 1 cm diameter. They may move at a snail’s pace but it’s fast enough to create a photographic challenge.
Day 359 / May 17
Always the dual feeling about my birthday and the future. Sometimes it all just scares me that I'm afraid to move forward.
Some 'kindred' tram/trolley/street-car photos are in the first comment box.

reluctant to post this iphone photo, that was a quick snap, poorly focused, of a sunset through a hotel window whilst enjoying a beer or 3.
But have to admit, Iphone camera does have its uses for such occasions.
It's easy to see why so many say the Twist 60 is their favourite lensbaby lens. Just from my few images taken yesterday and today I am already feeling the love with this one (and the model LOL).
Taken with my newest Lensbaby Optic the Lensbaby Twist 60 wide open in the Lensbaby Scout housing on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you know that I appreciate your comments and visits although I may not get back to you quickly but I will try.

It's like pulling teeth but he did actually pose for this for about 20 seconds.
M: "Hey honey, I need your noggin for foreground interest"
S: "Urrrrggghhhh. Hurry up"
I'll take what I can get.
I couldn't believe my luck at the wildlife refuge today! This magnificent coyote just stood there for several minutes posing for me in a little garden of flowers!
Thanks Frazz46 for the title suggestion!
Thanks, Mike Jones, for the constructive criticism. I cropped it. I wanted the log still in, so that also required flipping the photo the other way to get a good orientation.
Will you leave my frickin' Tecate alone???
A copycat of my wife's photo today. A poor copycat, I might add.
Carmela is forced to descend fron the train by Amedeo and by two other Italian passengers. She left Rome and she wants to live in a city not ia a remote settlement. She meet the welcome party and she is addressed with a speech:"Dear Carmela, this is a historical day for Bun Bun Ga. Carmela, you come from the noble and ancient country that is Italy. The country of Julius Caesar, the country of Michelangelo, of Galileo, the country of Guglielmo Marconi, the country of Caruso, of Bartali, and Pope Giovanni. Carmela, you come to this corner of the desert to bring us a little breath of your old civilisation."
Amedeo has just found out that his prospective bride was a prostitute in Italy.

"Are you gonna be much longer with this? I’m a busy dog with a schedule to keep…"

Get the shots while you can is my motto. The previous shot was more spontaneous. This one was barely 2 minutes later and I’ve already resorted to bribery…
Now that Malaya (my cat) is anti-social since I moved in with my cousin I have a new subject Penny, and she is too stupid to know better, haha. Judy was out for the night, and I had just yelled at Penny for doing something and she was like this the rest of the night, ugh! So I got the ears and took advantage of it, this is not a dog, except for all the damn licking I hate, it's like a person.
A RELUCTANT PROMISE of SPRING...

The meagre wind pulls around my ears

Beginning of April, most trees still skeletal, here and there a promising blossoming beauty.
April gives and takes, one day, warm sun caressing your Winter skin, the next, scarves and a biting wind.
Have a lovely day, M, (*_*)

There's a story behind every picture. Here's the one of this photo.
On a bitter winter day in early 2014, a friend and I hauled our photography equipment to the top floor of the campus library late one evening. We wanted to learn how to take headshots using flash and umbrellas. After taking a series of photos of each other, this beautiful student walked by and disappeared into the ladies room. I waited patiently and when she came out, I asked her if she would pose for some practice shots. Phanitha seemed leery at first but quickly warmed up to the idea. Then, to our surprise, she started striking a variety of poses without any coaching... as though she was a professional model! When I asked her about it, she said that she had posed on many occasions for a friend who was a photographer in India before she came here to the U.S. for college. Subsequently, I invited her to model in the studio while two professional photographers coached our photography club on portrait photography. This photo was taken at that session using a Canon 60D and a kit lens. In this particular shot, she was looking at another photographer in the group but I liked the shot anyway.
