Have a safe and great day dear Flickr friends !
Quite lucky today to not only get this female in flight, but also her reflection in the water below !
Beautiful evening light over one of the many lakes surrounding Jasper in Western Alberta (Canadian Rockies), Canada.
Derwent water around sunset, I so wanted to capture the reflections and also the Autumn colours on the trees on the Island. I was not happy with the standard exposure, it did not give me all I wanted on the live view on the back of the camera. So I bracketed five shots with a thought to a blend. So here is the standard exposure for the foreground rocks the Island and background mountains and the second shot is one stop under exposed to capture the sky detail and reflections then manually blend together, this took me ages to do but so happy with the final result .
I did try editing up the standard exposure but to my mind it did not look that great so I have stuck with my blended version .
River Eden, constantly on the move, creating amazing patterns that last for only a millisecond.
