Reflection on the polished aluminium refreshment trailer set up on Worthing seafront prior to the 2024 Worthing 10k event..
Through the mirror of my mind
Time after time
I see reflections of you and me
Reflections of
The way life used to be
Reflections of
The love you took from me
Oh, I'm all alone now
No love to shield me
Trapped in a world
That's a distorted reality
Happiness you took from me
And left me alone
With only memories
Through the mirror of my mind
Through these tears that I'm crying
Reflects a hurt I can't control
'Cause although you're gone
I keep holding on
To the happy times
Ooh, when you were mine
As I peer through the window
Of lost time
Looking over my yesterday
And all the love I gave all in vain
(All the love) All the love
That I've waisted
(All the tears) All the tears
That I've tasted
All in vain
Through the hollow of my tears
I see a dream that's lost
From the hurt
That you have caused
Everywhere I turn
Seems like everything I see
Reflects the love that used to be
In you I put
All my faith and trust
Right before my eyes
My world has turned to dust
After all the nights
I sat alone and wept
Just a handful of promises
Are all that's left of loving you
Reflections of
The way life used to be
Reflections of
The love you took from me
In you I put
All my faith and trust
Right before my eyes
My world has turned to dust

Yesterday Kay and I went on a ramble and it felt so good to hit the road for
whatever life would bring us on this day. First stop was a u-turn back to check
out some rusty pipes....we love rust! To check out Kay's photo of a rusty me

Lincoln to Nottingham â a Midland railway
Reflection in the window of a Class 222 Meridian unit on P7 at Nottingham Midland station.
I spent two years as a commuter on the Lincoln â Nottingham line. The railway opened in 1846 and was the first line into Lincoln, running into St Markâs station.
Although the modern railway seems somewhat soulless, I have tried to capture some pleasing moments from my many months of commuting.
You can see a random selection of my railway photos here on Flickriver: www.flickriver.com/photos/themightyhood/random/
Rainy nights are great for puddles in the morning. SaskPower along with the Hotel Saskatchewan and Blessed Sacrament Church are reflected in a puddle. I turned the composition on its head; you'd never see this persepctive in a puddle.
This pond is where they spend most time, it's only nerve wracking because we have to watch them, so they don't fall in it... that allows me to take pictures.
