According to Astorian Stigmata front man Dennis Condusta, Wilkes-Barre stars in all of their music videos. See the Black Diamond Bridge (along with other familiar landmarks from my hometown) in “Midnight Lullaby” at:

Incidentally, Astorian Stigmata is trying to acquire a new tour van so they can get out of Wilkes-Barre and expose more of their Northeastern Pennsylvania decay influenced music to the rest of the world…..Check out their Kickstarter page (music, t-shirts, and other fun stuff to all who contribute):

Wild/Forgotten Donkeys on Blasket Island, Co.Kerry, Ireland. The island lies approximately 2 km from the mainland at Dunmore Head, and extends 6 km to the southwest, rising to 292 metres at its highest point (Croaghmore). The nearest mainland town is Dunquin; a ferry to the island operates from a nearby pier during summer months.
The island was inhabited until 1953, when the Irish government decided that it could no longer guarantee the safety of the remaining population. It was the home of three noted Irish writers: Tomás Ó Criomhthain, Peig Sayers and Muiris Ó Súilleabháin. Their works were all written in Irish, and have all been translated into English, as well as other languages. The homes of Tomás Ó Criomhthain and Muiris Ó Súilleabháin are now in ruins but the house in which Sayers once lived has been restored, and used to form part of the hostel which previously functioned on the island. The hostel and cafe that once operated on the island have been closed. This is a result of the ongoing ownership dispute between the Irish state and the company which own 90% of the island. If you do one thing this year for your loved one and yourself....see the movie FIREPROOF or buy the book The Love Dare
Quotes from the movie:
"A woman's like a rose. If you treat her right, she'll bloom. If you don't, she'll wilt."
"When most people promise 'for better or for worse,' they only mean for the better."
“You can’t just follow your heart. Your heart can be deceived. You have to lead your heart.”
"Fireproof doesn't mean that a fire will never come, but that when it comes, you'll be able to withstand it."
"I have learned that you never leave your partner—especially in a fire."

Please view on black please!
Another shot against a bridge (one of my favourite viewpoints, as you know. Myself and vulture labs were out on a photowalk and decided to get the Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster) at sunset. We had taken a load of shots straight on during the main sunset, then I decided I wanted to change position.
There are some steps that lead down from underneath the bridge into the Thames. Luckily it was low tide, so I climbed over the gate and wall, had my stuff passed down to me, and walked down the mossy steps to almost the level of the water. I reeled off a few HDR shots, but settled on this single long exposure. I quickly climbed back out again, in case the river police came and had a word with me.
Even though this was a lovely sunset, I decided I preferred this shot in monochrome. To be honest, nearly every shot I've processed this weekend has ended up in black and white and/or monochrome, so expect a lot of that this week! (I hope you won't mind). I really love the figure on the bridge in the foreground.
Please view this large on black, as it really does make a big difference! Does this image have the right feel to add to my Espionage! set?. You tell me.
No images in comments please.

Any estimates on the radius or Bond number based on the curvature and shape? Is it possible? I think so given the drop is not spherical.
It's entirely a coincidence that I took this exactly one year ago, the 25th of July.

I was in Bombo for sunrise yesterday. The Bombo rocks are the usual Bombo rocks, but I was lucky to have spotted these weeds. I love the soft quality of our nature , for its soothing effect on our soul

From Wikipedia:
Cape Schanck is a locality in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is the southernmost tip of the Mornington Peninsula and separates the wild ocean waters of Bass Strait from the slightly calmer waters of Western Port.
The most recognisable symbol of Cape Schanck is the Cape Schanck Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1859 and was the second lighthouse built in Victoria. A prominent rock outcrop is Pulpit Rock and stands out at the very tip of the cape.
