F-111 Dump-n-Burn and the opening spray of fireworks off the Story Bridge, shot from Wilson's Outlook.
We staked out our shooting location from 10am (event started at 7pm) to make sure we got the prime position - was a looooooong day, but worth it in the end.

I am in to this Flickr Since 2003 . One day I was shared an Image and when I went to comment I was asked to be a member , and then I did not hv a yahooID, so I created one and Join flickr just to compliment the photographer and that Image,[ I forget his name and no link of that image to me now ] I am too Late to be remembered that Image , I continued that ID with out any Image Uploaded and then Had some Contact added.and than kept on looking here and there for 3 months and finally forget the pass word ,he he ehe
By then I was not seriously doing Photography with DSLR, Neither i had time for it, as I was on my job with BANGLADESH RIFLES at Pilkhana, Dhaka, But After two yrs, in 2005 I Uploaded Some of my personal image as to keep/ stored on line with a New ID, and had no idea abt flickr , Meanwhile I Noticed some good images are being uploaded at regular basis, but still I did not hv any flickr er contacts to me, nor any one added me up,
In the yr 2007, I Got retired form job , and Had some bad time as regards to keep me busy,so This time i found Face Book, and MADE ANOTHER ACCOUNT , FOUND LOT OF INTEREST IN IT, Meanwhile the incident of BDR took places on 25th feb 2008 and I got totally involved to face book groups on Blog writing on the issue, Suddenly I again came across flickr with Mr, Ziaul Haq, A face Book Friend through his image Kalboishakhi over Dhaka in May 2009. this image was posted to flickr but a link i saw then at face book and when i click i could see the image and commented after a long time, and took this Flickr er as my first contact, So Ziaul Haq Was my first contact in Flickr,
This was for sometime in 2009 . I was on and off at flickr and had no upload other then my own private photos, The same yr in Oct 24th I suffered a Heart attack, and went to Singapore for treatment , there i Purchased my first DSLR canon 500D . Back till Jan 2010 , I continued my old ID which was opened in 2007, and meanwhile i got seriously involved to flickr and start counting friends like Face Book, and reached over 1200+ within a short time,
After Dec 2009, I meet Mr, Ataul habib at Face book, and asked him to visit me at home, and took some good briefing abt DSLR. There i meet some other friends of ataul habib , mostly they are young and had the platform of Photography from Photography BAANGLADESH [ PGBD]. One of such is Mr,Rashidul Bari IQBAL. I had trouble in my Old ID and My ID profile link did not show my name, so I was advised by Rashid IQBAL to delete this ID and open a new one and have some fresh contact, then I Opened this new ID in Jan 2010. I had added some good photographer and started posting My New shots from my DSLR 500D, and Joined few groups,
I stated Playing games in flickr and collect vote for me and one such group I was placed jointly 1st to this photo Red Lilly Meanwhile I get my account Pro in may 02 ,2010. and got seriously involved to flickr and regularly uploading and commenting ,
I joined few groups in flickr from BANGLADESH and joined on Photo walk , One of these are Sudhui BANGLA, the one and Only I joined on a photo walk till then, Meanwhile I was noticed by MS KARIM BASHIR And he called me as a Moderator to EXCELLENT group and ADMIN to Nature Lover group and allso to 3 Star, I also came accross to Junaid Ahmed [ Alo Adhari] who was then a Admin to BANGLAR CHOBI [ Now a Private group] and he invite me to join as Admin and requested to shape the group orderly, After some days of my actvities to BANGLAR CHOBI i felt the ideologically this group will get separate and Might get logged in the hand of some over smart flickr er one day , and that has happens over a period of time,and I stepped down from admin and Group moved as Private Then i created Frame BANGLADESH . The First month walk of Frame BANGLADESH was conducted at Dhamrai , Dhaka, followed by a on line competition , and my photo JIBIKA was adjusted as First,
Meanwhile I meet Mr, SAJAN Islam flickr name Sajan164 And by then I had Again Over 1000+ contacts , and What I learn from him was an eye opening for me and Started Updating my account and Drop down to 300+
The same Yr 2010 , oct my photo started getting EXPLORED [ See Photo here] in Flickr, and then from Nov EXPLORED on Front Page [ See Photo Here] and Just from Dec 2010 i got my Image chosen by Getty Image See also I am Getty Image Contributor [ See Photo Here]
From October 2010 I changed my CANON 500D and Purchased Canon 60D [ See Photo Here ] and made some Pro shot and Got involved seriously with flickr,as of Now.

Loch Lomond is a freshwater Scottish loch, lying on the Highland Boundary Fault. It is the largest lake in Great Britain by surface area. The lake contains many islands, including Inchmurrin, the largest fresh-water island in the British Isles. Loch Lomond is a popular leisure destination and is featured in the famous song.
By yon bonnie banks and by yon bonnie braes,
Where the sun shines bright on Loch Lomon'.
where me and my true love were ever wont to gae
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomon'.
O ye'll tak' the high road and I'll tak the low road,
An' I'll be in Scotland afore ye;
But me and me true love will never meet again
On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomon'.

''....3 am.... there was a full bright moon with heavy black clouds, which threw the whole scene into a fleeting diorama of light and shade as they sailed accross. For a moment or two I could see nothing, as the shadow of a cloud obscured St Mary's church and all around it. Then as the cloud passed I could see the ruins of the abbey coming into view; and as the edge of a narrow band of light as sharp as a sword-cut moved along, the church and the churchyard became gradually visible'' From Dracula by Bram Stoker, Chapter 7.
* * *
This is a retouch of one of my holiday snaps. OK, maybe I got a bit carried away...
We recently visited Whitby Abbey, the place that inspired Bram Stoker to create Dracula and a mecca for folk of a Gothic persuasion.
I was expecting to be haunted by the atmosphere of the place but unfortunately a combination of (other) tourists, drizzle, an exhorbitant entrance fee and a shiny new visitor centre combined to dampen any other-worldly feelings.
Anyway, this is how I'd hoped it was going to be... a Hammer House of Horror look :o)
This is the Abbey as seen from the graveyard of the adjacent St. Mary's church. I know it looks contrived but this is a real view, if you're interested here's the original photo.
The "fog" is just a sky cloud-scape, slightly warped, and blended over the top. Various colour & lighting effects were employed to turn day to night - it's amazing what a few "stars" does to sell that idea!
You might think that the "watcher" is a bit too much but, for me, this is restrained. ;o)
Also I'd best just say that this is a great place to visit, with lots of interesting history.

The Shrine of Remembrance, located in St Kilda Road, Melbourne, is one of the largest war memorials in Australia, and resides in Kings Domain.
