Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley announces that the Alabama Medicaid Agency could receive up to $748 million in federal money over five years to help Alabama's regional care organizations (RCO's) start up and pay for projects to boost access to medical care, improve its quality and reduce its cost, at the state Capitol in Montgomery, Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016. Also pictured are Medicaid Commissioner Stephanie Azar, right, and state Sen. Greg Reed. SB340 in 2013 was sponsored by Sen. Reed and state then state Rep. Jim McClendon, who now serves in the state Senate. It mandated the creation of regional care organizations (RCOs) to start a managed-care system for about 650,000 Alabamians on Medicaid. Shortly after setting off on our trek across the frozen lake, I turned around and took this photo of my sled, with Kaarel standing behind ready to pull his own sled. You can just see my sister Ruth peering over Kaarel's shoulder.

This is the bench that the people from RCO would place outside their store when they were open, it is no longer there due to the fact that the store closed down. Needless to say, it was my favorite clothing store.
