One of my favourite dishes which is great eaten hot or cold. The aroma of the different herbs and vegetables baked with olive oil in the oven is incredibly wonderful!

Z - Zucchini
G - Green Peppers
O - Onions
T - Tomatoes
So easy to make and remember !
En fonction de l'éclairage du soleil, la robe normalement noire de Ratatouille présente de magnifiques reflets auburn.
Kürbis-Ratatouille
(Modifiziert nach „Kürbis – das Beste vom Herbst“, GU)
2 Zwiebeln, in Spalten schneiden
3 Knoblauchzehen, zerdrücken (oder fein hacken)
ca. 800 g Hokkaido-Kürbis, in Stücke schneiden
2 gelbe Paprikaschoten, in Stücke schneiden
2 kleine Auberginen, in Stücke schneiden, alles nacheinander in
4 EL Olivenöl andünsten.
1 kleine Dose Pizzatomaten dazugeben und
ca. 200 ml Gemüsebrühe, würzen mit
Thymian , Salz, Pfeffer und
20-30 Minuten sanft köcheln lassen.

Karni Mata temple is located in Deshnoke, 30 kms from Bikaner, Rajasthan. This is famous as Rat Temple.They are considered as the holiest rats. Although, there are around 20000 rats here no one to this date has seen any baby rats. Any given day, they all are of same size, shape, weight and height. This place is free of Plague or any other contagious diseases.
This is step 2 - after cooking the aubergine (eggplant) and zucchini (courgette), cook sliced onions and capsicum (bell peppers), season with salt and pepper.

Not much sun out these days but it is a wonderful time of year for serious slow cooking and bringing out wonderful flavours and textures from good local produce, which in turn calls for spending time with the family around the dining table.
You might have seen the Ratatouille cartoon about a Rat who is a chef in Paris, well this is photo similar from the movie poster.
We can see 7 bridges in Paris.
My meal on the street market: Ratatouille with rice and a glass of wine.
