Another shot of another R8 Spyder that was driving in a large group of all kinds of R8's on the winding roads of Tuscany
From wikipedia: The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater super car, which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. It was introduced by the German automaker Audi AG in 2006.
This is my minifig scale version of the Audi R8, THE dream car for me when I was a teenager who didn't have to think about transporting LEGO to conventions.
I think I started this car a little over a year ago, after mentioning to my friend (and talented car and plane builder) eastpole77 that I wanted to try building a minifigure-scale car. Not that I worked on it all year long but every now and then I came back to the LDraw file, figuring out the difficult shape one by one, trying to live up to my friends expectations and high standards.
About a month ago I finally cracked the last two issues and I'm finally happy with it.

A Slovak registered Audi R8, which although it may resemble a Hyper Black edition, I do not think it is.
Appears to be a first-generation model (Type 42), produced from 2006 to 2015.

Wie das R8 GT Coupé wurde auch der GT Spyder nur 333-mal gebaut.
Like the R8 GT Coupé, the GT Spyder was only built 333 times.
Was my first ! What a beautifull car ! Love the details in carbon fiber and the spoiler, the R8 GT is better than "comun" R8 !
